One thing that’s I’ve not actually thought about over the past year is when I’m going to jump into using Microsoft Development tools for creating programs? So far all I’ve developed are programs using the Java programming language and though it’s a robust and powerful language I have a feeling that the ‘real world’ is going to require more than just Java skills.

While reading one of the RSS feeds I subscribe to I found Thrive for Developers. This is a website with many different resources for budding as well as established software developers in what they refer to as the ‘economic downturn’. Might be useful for any other people out there looking to add a new link to their development resources link dump.
