A Random Static

Some background: When XP was released, I was still using 98. I had no real reason to swap my system over to a new OS. No compelling reason anyway. It wasn’t until I was at a LAN party that someone offered up an install disc that I decided to swap over. About 2 years after release I was finally using XP. I enjoyed the OS and never looked back.

Microsoft then released the digital abortion which is Vista. Among the idiocy of different versions, driver problems galore and complaints that Vista is only XP with increased visuals and irritating security dialogs that dog your every mouse click I, and most of the business world, found ourselves choosing to stick with XP. Not a hard decision.

Best Buy Optimization Is A Big Stupid Annoying Waste Of Money – The Consumerist.

After reading the article, I am surprise that this behavior continues. I thought this article deserved a linking simply for the ‘Jesus, I hate those guys’ info. Don’t fall for this sort of scam. Please.

Yeah I know; no one wants to see my ugly mug yapping on about something insignificant to the rest of the world in such a way that infers great import.  However…

I was working last night doing the usual traffic control for the Jubilee Auditorium and, also as usual, was sitting around on my break.  I cracked out the web cam and started bitching.  After I was done I messed around with the source files in Microsoft Movie Maker and then posted the results to YouTube.  I am such a narcissist.  OK, maybe too harsh a phrase but I must admit a certain level of curiosity watching myself blather on about shit.
